A Time Like No Other

Calico and I are doing well. I'm bringing her along slowly. I spend time with her and exercise her daily. I feel a closeness to her that I can't quite describe. When I'm at the stable, the rest of the world melts away. Just being in her presence is satisfying.

A Friend Indeed

Calico has a new friend, his name is Beau. He is a thoroughbred race horse, rescued by Shiloh Horse Rescue. He might have fed a European family, but now he just gets to hang out with Cali. He makes her look like a pony. 

A New Saddle

Here's Calico sporting her new, actually used, saddle. It seems to fit her well, and I got it for a good price. Isn't she cute?
